HOW IT HAPPENED (FRIDAY VERSUS UCSD):
Redshirt Junior
Gianna Nocetti started off the game by collecting her 30th sprint win of the 2025 season. Freshman

Lefty attacker

Lillie Vehling put away another 6-on-5 advantage for the team, the first goal scored in the second quarter.
The Ags had let their foot off the gas defensively in the second and third quarters, allowing the Tritons to score eight. However, a goal from
Madison Sparre and second goal from Sumner was just the third quarter spark that the Ags needed to start their offensive comeback to score four in the fourth quarter.

Eva Stein took the curtain closing goal with one second left in play.
Final Score: UC Davis 15, Cal State Fullerton 10

Chelsea Johnson and Senior

Freshman
Georgia Daly got the first Aggie look, which inspired
Sadie Henry and
Gianna Nocetti to get their names on the board. Miller added another goal to bring the Ags to an even eight, and the two teams were still tied at the end of the first half.
The Ags finally turned the tide in the third quarter, with
Bridget Miller hammering her third and fourth goal into the back of the net. Nocetti added a second goal as well, then
Margo Tempel and
Ashley Wallin helped pull the team ahead of the Titans. Goalkeeper
Eva Stein was crucial as well, only allowing one goal while making three big saves in the third to shut down any retaliation from Fullerton.
Junior
Ally Smith gave Nocetti some reprieve after winning the first three sprints and secured the fourth to start the final quarter off on the right foot. Johnson and Hungerford continue the siege, broadening the gap between the two teams. At the end of the game, Nocetti led the Aggies in points with her two goals and three assists, also swiping a team-high of three steals.
Miller led offensively with four goals, and eight total Aggies added points to the board. Stein made seven saves in the second half, and just two goals made it past her halo of defense.
