Following the conclusion of the 2024-25 Big West Conference Championships, the proud Aggie diving Coach
Phil Tonne has been recognized as Co-Diving Coach of the Year.

The accolades were shelled out on Friday, February 21st at noon.

During the Big West Championships, Tonne helped score all eight divers that competed: resulting in hardware in three of the events.

Mackenzie Young had the highest Aggie finish of the Championships, earning second overall for the long flip off the platform, her silver finish collecting 221.50 points.

Katherine Lim earned the first Aggie medallion in her flight off the three-meter block, earning third place overall with a score of 285.60. She garnered a second bronze finish on the final day of performances off the platform with a 216.90. Â

Overall, the Ags collected thirteen top-eight finishes during the four day competition that encompassed the Big West Championships.

Thanks to Tonne's expert guidance, he has brought the team to finish in the top three spots in the one and three meter diving events an impressive 22 times on the season.
