DAVIS, Calif. – After a season ranked near the top in multiple categories, helping UC Davis football make another deep run into the postseason, both
Jacob Psyk (first team) and
Caden Pinnick (freshman) have earned Stats Perform All-American honors, making both Aggies two-time All-Americans following the 2026 season.

Psyk, already an FCS Football Central All-American (second team) and Buck Buchanan Award finalist was named to the First Team putting him among the best defensive linemen in the nation. While Pinnick doubled up on his Freshman All-American honors, having already been named a Freshman All-American by FCS Football Central.

Up front Psyk was nearly unstoppable all season and his non-stop engine earned him unanimous first team All-Big Sky honors. Psyk ended his season with 9.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss, adding to his 48 total tackles (35 solo stops) while he added a pair of blocked kicks and five quarterback hurries.

With the most sacks by an Aggie since 2018 and the second most in a single season since 2013, Psyk made his presence known on every snap and he ended the season leading the conference in forced fumbles (three), total sacks and tackles for loss and on the national stage he ranked 13th in fumbles forced, 17th in total sacks and 16th in tackles for loss.

Under center Pinnick put together one of the best seasons by a quarterback in the nation, making 12 starts while on his way to being named a Jerry Rice Award Finalist. The Aggie signal caller finished the season with 3,206 passing yards and 32 passing touchdowns, while averaging 267.2 passing yards per game with a passer efficiency of 172.4. On the ground Pinnick added 437 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 3.5 yards per carry.

Pinnick finished the season ranked nationally third in passing efficiency, fourth in total passing touchdowns and yards per pass attempt (9.3), eighth in total touchdowns (11) and passing yards per game and ninth in completion percentage (70-percent).
