THE SHORT STORY: UC Davis saw its season come to an end in the Big West Championship Semifinal, falling 3-2 to top-seeded UC Santa Barbara on Saturday night at Harder Stadium. The Aggies led 1-0 at halftime behind a goal from Ben Elkins and added a late strike from Cason Goodman, but three second-half goals from the Gauchos proved to be the difference.
