WHAT HEAD COACH DAN CONNERS HAD TO SAY
"Definitely excited for this group. They played with their hearts on the line and really got after it tonight. I appreciate how well they work together; they work for each other, and we sent the seniors out with a bang. I know they're excited and we're gonna celebrate this tonight, but our main goal has been winning the Big West Tournament next week, and that's where our focus is going to be."

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- Davis got off to a quick start, with aces from Light and Chandler and a pair of kills from Brooke Hibino giving them an early 10-4 lead.
- Chandler continued to pace the Aggie lead with another ace, putting them in the red zone, 20-11.
- The Roadrunners collected a late 5-2 run, but Davis would take set one 25-17.
- Bakersfield set the tone early in set one, taking a 7-4 lead off blocks from Luiza Da Cruz and Sabrina Jones.
- The Aggies got back into it with a Starr ace, setting the stage for a 12-1 run highlighted from service from Haden Bones, giving them a 20-11 lead.
- But CSUB refused to back down, stringing together two separate 4-0 runs to get back within three late, 23-20.
- However, kills from Allie Caldwell and Czapinski shut the door on the comeback, giving the Aggies a 25-20 win and a 2-0 lead.
- The momentum carried into set three, as the home team would take the first five points to force Bakersfield into an early timeout.
- Out of the break, the Roadrunners paced the Aggies in points to come within one, 10-9.
- From there, Davis began to pull away once again with a pair of 3-0 runs paced by offense from Light and Czapinski.
- On the brink of victory, the Aggies saw the road team take three straight to enter the red zone, but kill number 15 from Light spelled a 25-20 victory for her team, securing another sweep.
UP NEXT: With the number one seed secured in the Big West Tournament, the Aggies will have the next six days off from competition and take on the winner of the four vs. five seed matchup in the conference.
