HOW IT HAPPENED

• UC Davis opened the day in the 400-yard medley relay, with the A team finishing eighth (3:44.78) and the B team placing 11th (3:45.95).
• In the 100-yard butterfly, Zoe Childers advanced from a fourth-place prelim swim (54.71) to take sixth in finals (54.99), while Naomi Boegholm added a 13th-place finish.
• The Aggies posted strong results in the 400-yard IM, with Ella Ackerman taking fifth (4:19.97) and Brynn Graham placing sixth (4:22.78).
• UC Davis excelled in the 200-yard freestyle, as Bellin placed third (1:49.56) and Valenta finished fourth (1:50.44).
• In the 100-yard breaststroke, Kayla Gregory and Aileen Zheng placed 11th and 12th with times of 1:03.71 and 1:03.95.
• Scheberies and Ramsden added top 12 finishes in the 100-yard backstroke, recording times of 55.53 and 56.05.
