  • Nya Epps led the way offensively with 20 points, setting a new season-high. This also marks the third time in Epps' career that she's had 20+ points in a contest, going for 24 and 26 last season.
  • Ryann Bennett continued an impressive start to her season with 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
  • Sophomore Avery Sussex set a new career-high with 15 points on three made treys.
  • In the third game of her career, Theoni Tsami scored her first points as an Aggie with a made three in the third. She also had a rebound and an assist.
  • Nine rebounds from Megan Norris put her in a tie for ninth place on the team's all-time rebounding list. Her 680 career rebounds tie her with former Aggie Kendall Greene.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Aggies saw the home team get hot early, with the Wildcats going up 9-0 in the first two minutes of action.
  • After a layup from Bennett broke the seal for Davis, the Aggies quickly got back into it, with a three from Epps tying the game at 14 apiece.
  • In the final seconds of the first, Sussex got on the board to put her team up 18-16 after 10 minutes of play.
  • Defense was the name of the game through the first five minutes of the second quarter, with both teams combining for six points.
  • Coming off the bench, Sophie Lentfer splashed a three for the Aggies before Bennett got a triple of her own to put her team up 28-20.
  • Despite free throws from Bennett, Weber State found themselves within four after a three from Hannah Roberts made it 32-28 in favor of the road team.
  • With Davis up 39-32 halfway through the third quarter, the threes began to fall for the team, with Bennett, Sussex, Emmy Ersdala, and Tsami making it rain to put them up by as much as 16.
  • Epps joined in on the barrage with back-to-back threes in the final minute of the period, making the score 59-42 in favor of the Aggies.
  • At the start of the fourth quarter, the Wildcats refused to go down, going on a 7-2 run through the first two minutes.
  • But the Aggie offense continued to produce, with Tegan Young and Carrington Davis getting their first of the night to go up 23, 72-49.
  • Weber State put a couple more in the hoop, but Sussex set her new career-best with a triple to wrap up a 75-52 win for her team.
