HOW IT HAPPENED
- UC Davis came out strong, applying pressure early as Beth Munro-Morris tested the Queens goalkeeper just 34 seconds into the match.
- After multiple saves by Queens' Madison DeStefano, the Aggies broke through when Munro-Morris converted on a penalty corner at 11:52 to give UC Davis a 1-0 lead.
- The Aggies extended their momentum in the second quarter as Morgan Caldera scored off an assist from Elle Louise Kocmond at 17:06.
- Minutes later, Ella Franken added an unassisted strike at 24:11 to make it 3-0 before halftime.
- UC Davis continued to dominate possession in the third quarter, earning several corners but was held scoreless thanks to strong goalkeeping by DeStefano.
- Queens got on the board 31 seconds into the fourth quarter when Maddie Just converted a penalty corner off an assist from Hensley Miller.
- The Aggies quickly responded, with Karly Redman scoring at 56:36 to restore the three-goal cushion and seal the 4-1 victory.
