UC Davis Athletics Celebrates Cal Aggie Athletics Hall Of Fame Class Of 2025

DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis welcomed its 41st class into the Cal Aggie Hall of Fame as three members and four teams were inducted ahead of Homecoming on Friday, Oct. 10 during a dinner ceremony that packed out the ARC Ballroom on the UC Davis campus.

The incoming class included Morgan Bertsch (women's basketball/2015-19); Allyson Hansen (women's water polo/2012-16) and Kris Spraker (football/1997-2000). Joining the three individuals were four national championship teams that included 1979 Men's Golf, the 1980 and 1981 women's tennis teams and the 1981 women's gymnastics team.

Joining the class was Nathaniel Hackett who received the Aggie Legacy Award thanks to his contributions to the coaching profession in the National Football League and collegiate ranks.

The ceremony was opened by Cal Aggie Hall of Famer David Nix before remarks from UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May. Following the Chancellor's remarks, UC Davis Director of Athletics Rocko DeLuca had his own remarks. DeLuca touched on the success the Aggies had during the 2024-25 season and the start to this year and talked about the excitement ahead of the move to the Mountain West.

Each new member of the Cal Aggie Hall of Fame was then introduced, and following a short video spent time on stage with a chosen former coach or friend who then conducted a short interview about their time as an Aggie. When it was all said and done, a great evening celebrating the incoming members of the Cal Aggie Hall of Fame had concluded.

Each honoree was proudly introduced on the field during the football game against NAU, joined by past inductees who welcomed them into the Hall of Fame tradition. The enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd made the celebration even more memorable.
