HOW IT HAPPENED
- The scoring was all Aggies early on, with Tova Sabel and Megan Norris combining for the game's first nine points.
- As the Titans slowed the game down defensively, both teams went to the line often, combining for 12 free throws as Davis held a 17-12 lead at the end of the first.
- In the second quarter, the Ags clamped down on defense, holding Fullerton to only six points throughout the entire period.
- Sabel scored 11 points for her team, bringing her total to 16, as the Aggies went into the locker room up 41-18.
- Another triple from Sabel opened up the third.
- Despite the deficit, the Titans continued to fight their way back into the game, outsourcing their opponent 20-18 throughout the frame.
- But Davis refused to back down as well, with Victoria Baker scoring the last six for the Aggies as they entered the fourth quarter up 59-38.
- The final quarter saw the Aggie freshman getting productive, as a pair of triples from Avery Sussex and two straight layups from Sahana Kanagasabay closed out an 80-54 victory for their club.
