Football Announces 2025/26 Non-Conference Schedule

DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis football has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, highlighted by trips to Washington and SMU along with taking part in the 2025 FCS Kickoff Classic in Montgomery, Ala.
 
To start 2025 the Aggies will spend Week 0 taking on Mercer in the FCS Kickoff Classic, the beginning of a three-game stretch away from Davis to open the season. UC Davis then heads to St. George, Utah for another match up with Utah Tech.
 
To finish its 2025 road non-conference, slate the Aggies head to Seattle, Wash., to take on the BIG10's Washington Huskies in the program's first match up against the Football Bowl Subdivision squad. UC Davis returns to Davis to open its 2025 home schedule following a bye week, hosting Southern Utah on Sept. 20.
 
The Aggies open 2026 on the road for the first two match ups, opening the season at San Diego on Sept. 5, the first meeting with San Diego since 2022 and the first trip to the southern California city since 2021. UC Davis then makes its first visit to Dallas, Texas to face SMU for the first time in either program's history in an FBS match up.
 
UC Davis opens home with a visit by Stetson in the final non-conference game of 2026 before moving onto Big Sky Conference play.
 
The Big Sky will announce its 2025 conference schedule on a later date.
