HOW IT HAPPENED

The Aggies opened the morning with doubles. Ryan Torres and Ivan Savkin finished first and were unable to fend off their opponents.

Next to finish in doubles were Katpelly and De Vries who fought hard to win their match and give the Aggies an equal playing field in doubles play.

Last to finish was the pair of Lucas Bollinger and Kaveh Taheri who were unable to take down their opponents to obtain the doubles point for Davis.

On to singles, Aggies Torres and Katpelly dropped early in singles losing their matches in two sets.

Bollinger was the first Aggie to win their match and fought hard through a tie-breaker to take down his opponent.

Down 3-1 the Aggies needed to fight back in their singles matches. De Vries and Savkin both dropped their matches to their opponents next putting Davis down 5-1.

The final Aggie to conclude their match was sophomore Gonzalez who was able to fight and get a match win for the team, although it was too late to get a team win.
