DAVIS, Calif. – In their second conference matchup of the season, the Aggies hosted the Cal Poly Mustangs during Senior Day, honoring the seniors' careers with an outstanding final score of 185-112 versus the Mustangs.
 
"Today's meet was all about our seniors," said head coach Matt Macedo. "We had a beautiful Davis day with family members and alumni in the stands and we were able to get a victory in our first meet of 2025.'
 
' I was proud of the way the team supported each other, especially our senior class and look forward to a tough meet against UCSB tomorrow."
 
Senior Sam Rhodes closed out the day with three top three finishes, seniors Katie McLain and Christy Douglas each notched two, and Haley Hoefer added a top three finish into the mix.
 
Senior Taylor Schwarz also had a successful day and posted second in the 1-meter dive and third in the 3-meter dive in her senior meet.
 
Besides the seniors' impressive performances today, several other Aggies scored high. Sophomore Brynn Graham took first place in both the 100 butterfly and 200 IM. Anagha Kondury had three top three finishes as well.
 
Katherine Lim, Leila Busch, and Lauren Kudo outperformed the Mustangs on the boards, Busch scoring top three in both diving events.
 
UP NEXT: Before Championships in February, the Ags will look to have conference competition one last time versus the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos Sunday, January 19th starting at 11:00 AM at Schaal.
