• Denver took the early lead grabbing the doubles point. 

• Senior Sam De Vries defeated his Denver opponent in two sets. 

• Junior Lucas Bollinger defeated his Denver opponent in three sets. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Aggies opened the morning with doubles, with Eduardo Gonzalez and Sam De Vries' match concluding first. The duo couldn't pull through, dropping their match to Denver. 

• The second doubles pair to conclude was Kaveh Taheri and Lucas Bollinger, who were unable to fend off their opponents. 

• The third Aggie pair included senior Ryan Torres and sophomore Ivan Savkin, and this match went unfinished. 

• On to singles, Torres was the first Aggie to finish their match and was unable to fend off his Denver opponent losing in two sets. 

• Next to finish was Bollinger, where his match went to three sets and ultimately ended in a victory for the Aggies. 

• Three more Aggies would fall before the last match of singles was to be decided. Taheri, Gonzalez, and Savkin all lost in two sets to their Denver opponents. 

• The last to finish was senior De Vries where he was able to hold off his Denver opponent and take the win in just two sets.
