The Short Story: The Aggies beat Redlands in their first game with a final score of 17-5, led by
Aleix Aznar Beltran's four-goal addition to the overall score. That evening despite the 15-10 loss to No. 3 Stanford, the Aggies has a tremendous offensive effort with hat tricks from
Holden Neach and Tommy Kiesling.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Beltran led with four goals versus the Bulldogs and
Adam Ting was not far behind him with three goals.
Andrew Hitchcock,
Johnny Kujawa, and Kiesling added two points to the score each. And gabe Benson and
Tyler Mrkaich added a goal each as well.

The Aggies had a .750 shooting percentage on their 5-meter opportunities, making three of the four shots. Mrkaich led the team in assists, setting up three of the goal making plays for the Aggies. On the defensive end,
Frank Laptin made 10 saves in the cage to hold the Bulldogs' offense to only five goals.

Neach and Kiesling each tallied a hat trick in the game versus No. 3 Stanford. Kiesling's were all from 6-on-5 power plays. Kujawa, Hitchcock, and
Will Nomura added a goal each as well. Mrkaich came in consistently again for the Aggies and earned another three assists.

Baxter Chelsom shut out eight of the Cardinals' scoring opportunities, supplemented by four defensive blocks made by the Aggies in the field.
UP NEXT: The Aggies face another tough pair of games tomorrow, Sept. 8th at the Canyonview Aquatics Center in La Jolla, California. The team will face Westcliff at 10:30AM then No. 4 USC at 2:30PM to round out the Triton Invite.
