- Needing an answer, the Aggies turned to Devyn Simmons, who delivered the equalizer in the 60th minute, bringing the game to 2-2 with 30 minutes remaining
- The game seemed to be heading to a draw until Cordero delivered a perfect ball from a late corner, finding Tristan, who scored the eventual game-winner, giving UC Davis the 3-2 win on the road
