- The Aggies maintained their attack, with K. Garcia beating the keeper with a left-footed shot from just outside the box to make it 2-0 in the 22nd minute
- UC Davis continued their offensive output in the first half, with T. Garcia extending the lead to 3-0 in the 43rd minute, scoring off a rebound from an Ava Coverdale shot
- UC Davis carried this 3-0 lead into halftime
- New Mexico State got on the board in the 75th minute, making it 3-1
- Despite late efforts from New Mexico State, UC Davis held on to secure a two-win weekend
