The Short Story: In a tremendous effort, graduate student Aleix Aznar Beltran converted five of his shots tonight in the game versus No. 18 Santa Clara.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Aleix Aznar Beltran led the Aggies in goals, made two assists, and drew three exclusions
• Redshirt freshman Thomas Kiesling also put up a hat trick for the Aggies
• Redshirt senior Will Nomura and freshman Oleg Shatskikh also added two to the scoreboard with impressive feats from the center, post, and 1 positions.
• Graduate student Holden Neach made two field blocks and went 2-for-2 on the sprint plays
• Redshirt freshman Brady Simon made five saves for the Aggies, shutting down big plays for the Broncos.

 
UP NEXT: The UC Davis Aggies will travel down to San Jose, California to compete in the Big West-WCC one-day tournament, and get another crack at Santa Clara on October 5th at 10:15 AM and later that day versus San Jose State at 2:45 PM.
