The Short Story: Despite a lively fourth quarter against the Cardinal, the Aggies fell to No. 2 Stanford and later to No. 10 LBSU after a tough goal-trading battle with the opposing team.

HOW IT HAPPENED (vs Stanford):
- Redshirt freshman Thomas Kiesling scored a hat trick in the game, breaking the Cardinal defense
- Redshirt freshman Baxter Chelsom made eight saves against the Stanford offensive attack
- Sophomore Timothy Kerr and graduate student Aleix Aznar Beltran both had a pair of assists, while redshirt junior Andrew Hitchcock had a trio of assists to aid the attack
- Graduate student JT Kujawa drew four exclusions to give the Aggies powerplay opportunities

HOW IT HAPPENED (vs LBSU):
- Redshirt freshman Brady Simon tallied up ten blocks for the Aggies, including two crucial back-to-back saves in the final seconds of the first half
- Redshirt senior Tyler Mrkaich breaks the seal on the offensive end for the Aggies in the first quarter
- Beltran earned two goals for the Aggies in even strength play and two field blocks on the defensive end
- Redshirt junior Adam Ting converted a key five meter before the first half ended
- Kiesling added two goals to the overall score in the second half
- Timothy Kerr and redshirt junior Andrew Hitchcock had an electric moment towards the end of the game, where Hitchcock's pass back from the center entry turned into an assist as Kerr fires the ball into the net.
- Graduate student Holden Neach tied up the game in the final minute with an impressive goal from the 1-2 side that was swiftly answered by the LBSU powerplay
- Simon came out for a risky steal to turn the ball over in the final seconds of the game to grab one more opportunity for the team, but the LBSU offense thought quickly and put the ball away after Simon was ejected from the game
