The Short Story: Despite a surge of energy towards the end of the game by the Aggie offense, the Trojans take the win to round out day one of the Overnight MPSF Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Redshirt Freshman Baxter Chelsom made nine key saves against USC's relentless attack in the game
- Junior Waylon Fox had a game-high pair of assists to aid in the team's scoring opportunities
- Redshirt Junior Andrew Hitchcock drew two exclusions to spark powerplay scenarios
- Junior Will Fosselman broke the scoring seal in the first quarter for the Aggies
- Graduate student Holden Neach added to the scoreboard to end the first half
- Graduate student Aleix Aznar Beltran made two goals in the third, redshirt senior Will Nomura sandwiched a goal in between Beltran's as well
- The Aggies outscored the Trojans in the fourth quarter, converting 4 goals to stimulate the offense
- Freshman Gabe Bensen went on the attack, scoring a pair of goals in less than a minute and a half for the Aggies in the fourth quarter
- Hitchcock followed Bensen's attack with a goal on the powerplay, followed by freshman Oleg Shatskikh's impressive counter goal in the waning seconds of the game
