MOBILE, Ala. – Already a member of the 2024 Walter Payton Award Preseason Watchlist and the Big Sky Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, UC Davis football senior running back
Lan Larison can now add his name to the 12th Annual Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist as announced by the Resse's Senior Bowl.
Larison, who has also been named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 Watchlist and has earned FCS Preseason First Team All-American honors, joins 13 other Big Sky student athletes to be named to a list that's chalk full of draft eligible talent across both the Football Bowl Series and the Football Championship Series.
Despite only playing in eight games due to injury, Larison finished 2023 with 1,101 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns, placing him among the nation's best. He finished ranked 12th in the nation in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns and his 15 total touchdowns put him eighth in the country.
He led the conference in all-purpose yards (1,299) and finished second in the league in rushing yards and third in rushing touchdowns.
About Reese's Senior Bowl: The Reese's Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 75 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1100 media members from around the country were credentialed this year. This past April, the game produced 110 total picks, representing 43 percent of the entire NFL draft.
2024 FALL CAMP: UC Davis opened fall camp on July 31 and all practices are open to media and fans. The Aggies will split time between the grass of Bob Biggs Practice Field and the turf of UC Davis Health Stadium. Fans and media can watch the Aggies regardless of which field they are on.

UC Davis opens the season at Cal on Aug. 31, with kick set for 2 p.m. The Aggies open UC Davis Health Stadium on Sept. 7 with a 7 p.m. kickoff against Texas A&M-Commerce.
