The short story: Sarah Reineman and Sophia Ramuno duked it out in another hotly contested pitcher's duel and the hosts came out on top yet again, as UC Davis fell to Cal Poly 1-0. The Mustangs earn their first sweep over the Aggies since 2009.

- Reineman surrendered just one run over her six innings in the circle, allowing just three hits while striking out three.

- Sophia Ramuno threw 14 straight scoreless innings on the weekend, earning back-to-back complete game shutouts.

THE RUNDOWN
- Cal Poly opened the scoring in the top of the first when Julia Barnett sored Xiara Diaz with single down the right-field line.
- Reineman settled into a groove after the first frame, tossing five consecutive scoreless innings to keep the Aggies within striking distance.
- UC Davis was held without a hit until Pahulu's single in the top of the fourth.
- The Ags needed one run in the seventh to send the game to extras and Gia Felice led off the inning by legging out an infield hit before racing to second base on an error by the shortstop.
- Dethlefson was intentionally walked to set the table for the middle of the Aggies' order, but they could not capitalize, and Cal Poly escaped with the 1-0 win.
