The short story: Four different Aggies recorded multi-hit games in Saturday night's 7-4 win as UC Davis secured the program's second ever series win over Cal State Fullerton.
LEADING OFF
- Jason Hanson highlighted an Aggie lineup that saw four different players record multiple hits, finishing the night 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBIs
- The series win signified the program's second ever series win over the Titans, with the other occurrence happening in 2019
- Mason Lerma got the win out of the bullpen, tossing 3.0 innings, giving up just one run on three hits, allowing no walks and striking out two
- In addition to Hanson, Tyler Howard, Alex Gouveia and Riley Acosta all registered mutli-hit outputs

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Aggies made their mark on the game in the second inning tallying a total of five runs
- Nick Lehey provided the first runs of the inning with a two-run double
- He was followed up by a Gouveia RBI single down the left field line
- A two-run double by Ethan Felix, capped off the five-run, six-hit inning
- The Titans responded with a pair of runs in the bottom fo the second to cut the lead to 5-2 in favor of UC Davis
- Fullerton would scratch one more run in the third, before five scoreless frames from both sides
- Hanson would end the scoring drought, extending the Aggie lead to 7-3 with a two-run homer
- Carter Delaney, who entered in the eighth would go on to earn his second straight save in consecutive nights, helping guide a 7-3 final
NOTABLE
- UC Davis has scored seven runs in three consecutive contests, improving the Aggies record to 17-4 in games the Aggies score six or more runs
- The Aggies clinched their second straight Big West series win, and the first over the Titans since 2019
