LEADING OFF
- It was Dame day in Fullerton, with the senior pacing the offensive output going 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs, two stolen bases and a run-saving sliding catch in left field
- The UC Davis Aggies took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and never trailed from there
- Tyler Howard joined Stone in the home run department finishing the night with a 2-for-5 effort, collecting two RBIs
- Jason Hanson also helped out for UC Davis, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate while adding an RBI in the fifth inning
- Kaden Riccomini improved to 2-0 on the season, picking up the win out of the bullpen
- Braydon Wooldridge also pitched well, going two shutout innings while allowing one hit, walking one and striking out two

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Aggies got the scoring started early, putting two runs on the board in the top of the first inning
- UC Davis plated two runs with Stone leaving the yard for a two-run homer
- Cal State Fullerton clawed back in the second, scoring a run off a bunt single to bring the score to 2-1
- UC Davis would go on to pick up two runs, including one on a solo homer off the bat of Howard, which brought the score to 4-1 in favor of the Aggies in the third
- The Titans would score again in the fourth to making it a 4-2 Aggie lead in entering the fifth
- UC Davis added another run in the following top half, taking a 5-2 thanks to a Hanson RBI single
- UC Davis held the Titans scoreless before their offense got back in action the next inning, bringing the score to 6-2 in favor of UC Davis
- CSU Fullerton got within 6-4 until the Aggies scored again in the ninth inning to stretch its lead to 7-4
- Carter Delaney would go on to pick up his fourth save of the season, holding the score at 7-4 to give the Aggies their second straight Friday win
