HOW IT HAPPENED
- Scoring started in the second inning for both sides, with the Rainbow Warriors and the Aggies putting together identical scoring innings: a double, followed up by a 4-3 putout, finished off with a sacrifice fly to center field
- Hawai'i continued the scoring, getting back on the board in the fourth and fifth to take the 3-1 lead
- The Aggies responded with a pair of runs of their own, getting back-to-back solo home runs from Riley Acosta and Damian Stone in back-to-back innings to square it up at 3-3 in the sixth
- Kaden Riccomini entered into a bases load jam in the eighth and escaped, inducing an inning ending grounder to keep it tied at 3-3
- UC Davis got a runner in scoring position in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, but was ultimately left stranded, sending the games to extras for the second time of the series
- In the 10th, the Rainbow Warriors capitalized on a leadoff walk and would eventually score on a sacrifice fly to take the 4-3 lead and the win as UC Davis was unable to score in the bottom half
NOTABLE
