- However, the Aggies tied it back up with a run from an RBI single by junior Mark Wolbert
- The deadlock persisted until the subsequent inning when UC Davis's offense surged once more as Joey Wright's bunt contributed to an RBI single, bringing Aggies ahead by a score of 6-5
