DAVIS, Calif. – On Saturday, March 9, Aggie Fans can witness the first glimpse of Tim Plough's new era of Shredville at the Spring Game inside UC Davis Health Stadium.
 
"We want to bring everybody out to celebrate UC Davis football," Plough said. "We're going to have kids on the field, events during the game where you can win some prizes, play some football, and we want to turn it into a party. Hopefully we can turn this into a yearly event at the end of the winter quarter."
 
There will be no shortage of food, beverages, or entertainment available to fans at the 2024 Spring Game. The Spring Game will feature:

• Food Trucks
• Beer available for sale
• Music
• T-Shirt Giveaway
• Post-game autographs and on-field drills with the team

 
Warm-ups will begin at 4:30 p.m. when kids will be invited to join UC Davis football as it runs through the tunnel and interact with players throughout the inaugural portion of the team's final spring practice.
 
After the warm-up period, a passing competition will take place between the Aggie quarterbacks, with Coach Plough on the mic to commentate the event.
 
The spring game will officially kickoff at 5 p.m. where the new-look Aggies will be in action for the first time. At the first quarter break, three contestants will be invited on to Jim Sochor Field for the opportunity to catch a punt. A successful catch will be rewarded with a prize.
 
A break during the second quarter will lead to a field goal competition as the contestants' kicking game will be put to the test. Halftime festivities will include a punt, pass, and kick competition before the third quarter break features "Crowd Pick the Song" where Aggie fans will choose what music echoes throughout UC Davis Health Stadium.
 
After the final whistle blows, student-athletes will hurl T-shirts into the crowd, giving fans the opportunity to wear Aggie merchandise. Then fans will be, once again, invited onto the field to try out their skills in tackling, receiving, and agility stations.
 
 
SEASON TICKET RENEWALS
Fans will have the opportunity to renew their season tickets at the Spring Game this Saturday.
 
"Aggie Fans – It's time to renew your season tickets," Plough said. "We hope you know how much we value your continued support. There's no Shredville without our Aggie Fans. Don't wait another minute to renew those tickets and let's find joy together every Saturday this fall."
