RANCHO MURIETA, Calif. — UC Davis rode dominant performances in Horsemanship and Fences to a commanding 14-6 win over third-seeded Delaware State in the 2024 ECAC Semifinals. The Aggies advance to take on top seeded UT Martin tomorrow, Mar. 27 at 8:00 a.m. in the 2024 ECAC Championship meet. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
Delaware State came out strong in Reining to begin the meet, winning four of five head-to-head matchups to take an early 4-1 lead. 

UC Davis responded with two consecutive sweeps in Fences and Horsemanship. Jessie Rechs won the Fences MOP, while Jordan Schween earned the Horsemanship MOP to lead the Aggies on their 10-point turnaround. With their 11th point, the Aggies clinched a spot in the 2024 ECAC Championship Meet. 

In the final event of the day, UC Davis added three more points to their tally, with wins from Amber Ide, Marin Gilliland and Sierra Gundersen.
