DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis equestrian team has a chance to bounce back after suffering a loss via tiebreaker against Fresno State on Saturday when No. 7 Oklahoma State visits the UC Davis Equestrian Center on Sunday, Mar. 3 at 10:00 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The ninth-ranked Aggies fell on the road last weekend, 9-9, against Fresno State. The Aggies posted a lower tiebreaker score than the Bulldogs to drop to 4-5 on the season. 

UC Davis pulled in seven accolades for their recent performances, including four ECAC Rider of the Week awards, two ECAC Rider of the Month awards and an NCEA Ride of the Week nod. Emma Jolly and Lauren Langbaum's MOP rides proved worthy of ECAC weekly recognition, as did Marin Gilliland and Gracie Howell's rides against the Bulldogs. 

Tasia Anstead finished February with a perfect 4-0 record in Fences to earn ECAC Rider of the Month, and Langbaum went 3-1 for the month with two MOP's to earn the ECAC Reining Rider of the Month award.

Langbaum scored a 77.5 against Fresno State, which set a new program record in Reining and proved worthy of the NCEA's Ride of the Week award. 

ABOUT THE COWGIRLS
Oklahoma State is 4-6 so far this season, with two wins coming against Baylor, a win over Fresno State and a major upset win over No. 3 SMU. In their most recent meet, the Cowgirls were defeated 6-14 by No. 1 TCU. Oklahoma State will compete against Fresno State on Mar. 2 before traveling to Davis on Sunday. 

HISTORY
UC Davis and Oklahoma State have faced off three times before, with the Cowgirls coming out victorious each time. Most recently, these teams competed last March to conclude the 2022-23 regular season when Oklahoma State emerged with a 13-7 victory.
