RIVERSIDE, Calif. — UC Davis baseball (5-4) dropped both games of Friday's doubleheader to CBU (7-3) with final scores of 5-4, and 5-1.
GAME 1 | CBU 5, UC Davis 4
In a thrilling showdown during the series opener against CBU, senior
Jack Gallagher delivered a clutch three-run homer in the sixth inning to tie the game, but the UC Davis Aggies could not complete the comeback and lost 5-4 in the first game of the night.
The Aggies had a solid performance from their bullpen, as sophomore

Sal Batres combined to give up just one run and strike out three batters in three innings of relief. However, Huezo was tagged with the loss.
The Aggies' offense was led by Gallagher, who drove in three runs with his first home run of the season. He finished 1-for-4 at the plate. Junior
Alex Gouveia also had a productive day, going 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Freshman
Tyler Howard also chipped in with UC Davis' other extra-base hit on the day, collecting a double.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Aggies took an early lead when Gouveia drove in senior
