After dropping their most recent regular season matchup to both schools, the Aggies bounced back in the 2023 ECAC Championship, advancing past Delaware State in the semifinal and UT Martin in the championship meet. All time, the Aggies are 2-4 against Delaware State and 2-1 against UT Martin.

ABOUT THE AGGIES
The Aggies dropped their most recent meet, a mid-November home showdown with then No. 2 SMU, 9-11.

Kendal Scheiner earned her second reining MOP of the season with a score of 72 and the Aggies outscored the Mustangs 6-4 in western competition.

Two weeks prior, against South Dakota State and Minnesota Crookston, UC Davis picked up all eight MOPs. Sierra Gunderseon (86) and Carly Sweeney (90) won in Fences, Carly Sweeney (80) and Lauren Kolbe (80) won in Flat, Natasha Replogle (78.5) and Jordan Schween (75.5) won in Horsemanship and Macey Newkirk (74.5) and Kendal Scheiner (72.5) won in Reining.

Sweeney's 90 in Fences tied for the second best Fences score in UC Davis program history. Natasha Replogle's 78.5 in Horsemanship tied for first in the Aggie record books, as did Macey Newkirk's 74.5 Reining score.

The Aggies won the 2023 ECAC Conference Championship and are currently the second highest ranked ECAC team by the NCEA.

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Eighth ranked Delaware State (4-2, 3-0) has had a successful start to the season, with a perfect ECAC record and a win over Baylor University in November. The Hornets enter this weekend having lost two of their last three meets to top ranked TCU and No. 3 SMU.

UT Martin (2-6, 1-1) has struggled with a difficult schedule, suffering losses to No. 8 South Carolina, No. 6 Georgia, No. 2 Auburn, No. 1 TCU, and No. 5 Georgia. The Skyhawaks earned wins over No. 8 Baylor and South Dakota State, but lost their most recent meet to Delaware State.
