Lan Larison Named Stats Perform FCS National Offensive Player Of The Week

DAVIS, Calif. – With a stellar performance against Sacramento State, racking up 273 all-purpose yards, senior running back Lan Larison has been named the Stats Perform FCS National Offensive Player of the Week.

It's Larison's second national honor of the season, having been named the East-West Shrine Bowl "Offensive Breakout Player of the Week" following his performance against then-ranked No. 2 Montana State.

The Aggie back ran for 148 yards on 23 touches and scored three rushing touchdowns. Including putting a dagger into the side of Sacramento State with a game-long 59-yard touchdown scamper in the fourth quarter. Larison also finished with 69 yards receiving on four catches, returned four kicks for 56 yards and recovered an onside kick to seal the game for the Aggies.

Currently Larison leads all running backs in the nation in both receiving yards (755) and receiving touchdowns (six) and he leads the nation in total all-purpose yards (2,132) and all-purpose yards per game (177.7).

No. 5 UC Davis currently awaits the winner of No. 12 Illinois State and Southeast Missouri State in the second round of the NCAA FCS National Championships. That game will be held at UC Davis Health Stadium on Dec. 7 at 1 p.m.
