HOW IT HAPPENED
- After falling behind 28-21, UC Davis went on a 14-0 run with 7:42 left in the first half, culminating in a bucket from Connor Sevilla, to take a 35-28 lead
- The Aggies then added two points to their lead by the end of the period, entering halftime with a 39-30 advantage
- UC Davis did most of its first-half damage in the paint, scoring 20 of its 39 points at the rim
- After the break, Menlo continued to fight back, but UC Davis maintained its lead and went on a 7-0 run to extend the lead to 68-57 with 7:25 remaining
- The Aggies held on for the 80-70 victory, getting a boost from their bench, which accounted for 13 of their 41 second-half points
