The short story: UC Davis men's soccer earned their first points in Big West play with a 2-2 draw against CSUN on Wednesday night.
Declan Horio and
Cason Goodman both found the net, while
Mekhai Wilson delivered a game-saving save in the final seconds.

- Horio provided UC Davis their first goal of conference play, with Lucas Fernandez-Kim recording his fourth assist of the season, which is tied for fourth among Big West leaders

- UC Davis remained on the attack, with Goodman converting a penalty in the 35th minute to double the Aggies' advantage, making it 2-0
- The Matadors responded just before halftime, with Edwards scoring off a free kick to make it 2-1
- Early in the second half, Solorzano evened the score in the 65th minute with a well-placed volley
- The back-and-forth battle continued, with nine shots taken between the teams from the 65th minute onward
- With just two seconds remaining, Wilson's crucial save helped secure the draw, earning UC Davis their first points in conference play
