- The Senior Day crowd was energized early, with Goodman finishing the game-opening goal to give UC Davis a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute after an assist from Chase Tanon
- The Aggies maintained control of the game, holding their lead into the half
- UC Davis doubled their advantage in the second half, with Horio scoring after a setup from Lillington and Goodman
- The Tritons attempted to rally in the second half, but Schwengeler added four of his six saves, allowing UC Davis to secure a 2-0 win and a vital three points in their home finale
