The Short Story: The Ags close out their second Big West Conference match with a win over the No. 16 Santa Barbara Gauchos
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Redshirt senior Colin Nicholls broke the seal of play, scoring the first goal of the game. This fired up the Aggie offense, causing redshirt seniors Will Nomura and Tyler Mrkaich to follow suit
• Redshirt junior Andrew Hitchcock tallied two goals in the first half alone, Mrkaich also added two to the net
• Graduate student Aleix Aznar Beltran registered four assists in the first half
• After a first half with a 6-5 lead, the Ags pull ahead in the third quarter, with quick attacks from senior Johnny Kujawa and freshman Oleg Shatskikh
• Graduate student Holden Neach also added a goal for the Ags to pull through with a win

 

UP NEXT:  The Ags go further south to play No. 2 UCLA tomorrow on Sunday, October 20th at the Spieker Aquatics Center.
