PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The UC Davis duo of
Keanna Abraham and
Megan Ray wrapped up their second consecutive trip to the NCAA postseason at the Pittsburgh Regional on Friday afternoon at the Petersen Events Center.
The pair competed in both the vault and floor and scored 9.825 or higher in each competition.
Abraham tallied two scores of 9.85 on the afternoon. The sophomore tied for fourth overall on the vault and started off her meet with an 18
th place showing on floor. The two scores of 9.85 moved her season total to 15 times over 9.85 or above.
Ray had her strongest performance on floor where she tied her teammate in 18
th with a 9.85. On vault, the sophomore had her best placing, finishing tied for ninth with a 9.825.
The duo are the first Aggies to qualify and compete in multiple events in the same season at the NCAA Regional that was not in the all-around since Alexis Brown in 2016.
The appearance by UC Davis continued it impressive streak as the Aggies have had at least two representatives in the NCAA postseason every year since 2010.
