The short story: In its first NCAA Regionals appearance since 2014, UC Davis gymnastics battled Illinois at Alaska Airline Arena, falling short of advancing to the NCAA Regional quarterfinals.

Keanna Abraham (VT; FX) and
Megan Ray (VT) will all compete tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the second session of the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Moneymaker took the all-around title, finishing with a score of 39.175, her ninth time this season cracking 39.000 in the all-around
- On beam, Ayumi Oshiro shined, posting a career-high 9.875 to win that event
- Keanna Abraham tied for first on vault with a mark of 9.800 and on floor she finished fourth with a 9.825
- On floor, Moneymaker scored one of only two 9.900's in the meet to tie for the title
- Megan Ray posted solid marks as well, finishing third on floor (9.850), vault (9.750) and beam (9.800)
- Jehaan Poonja posted a 9.775 on beam to finish tied with Moneymaker for fourth
- As a team the Aggies showed off on floor, winning with a score of 49.100
