La Jolla – The Aggies started a weekend-long Big West Conference trip to Southern California as they took on UC San Diego in La Jolla. The Aggies fell to the Tritons 5-2 on Saturday at the Northview Tennis Courts.
 
The Aggies won two singles matches. Yana Gurevich, on court #1, defeated Kelly Leung, 7-5, 6-3 and Arianna Stavropoulos, on court #2, defeated Ella Pachl, 6-0, 7-5. The Aggies battled on two courts (court #3 and court #5) as they fell in three sets.
 
In doubles play, the Aggies won one match. Gurevich and Stavropoulos won on court No. 1, 6-4, over Pachl and Sophie Pearson of the Tritons.
 
The Aggies will continue their road trip tomorrow against UC Irvine in Irvine. First serve is set for 11 am.
