Box Score IRVINE - The UC Davis women's tennis team played its second Big West Conference match in as many days as they took on UC Irvine on the road. The Aggies bounced back from Saturday's defeat in La Jolla to take down the Anteaters, 6-1 on Sunday from the Anteater Tennis Stadium.
 
In singles play, the Aggies won five of the six singles matches that were played. Yana Gurevich (court No. 1), Arianna Stavropoulos (court No. 2), Michelle Zell (court No. 4) and Kaia Wolfe (court No. 5) each won their matches in straight sets. Carly Schwartzberg won her match on court No. 6 in three sets – 6-2, 4-6, 12-10 – over Haily Huynh.
 
In doubles play, the Aggies won all three matches. Gurevich and Stavropoulos won, 6-3 on court No. 1, Lauren Ko and Olive Maunupau won, 7-5 on court No. 2 and Schwartzberg and Zell won, 6-4 on court No. 3.
 
The Aggies will finish their road trip on Saturday as they take on University of San Francisco in San Francisco. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
