Box Score SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – UC Davis went the distance with Cal Poly in its regular season finale on Saturday night, but the Mustangs would prevail in the five-set thriller.
The Aggies finish their regular season campaign at 13-15 overall (8-10 Big West) and will occupy the number six seed in the inaugural 2023 Outrigger Big West Women's Volleyball Championship. The Mustangs (20-10, 14-4 Big West) will be their opponent for their first-round matchup after securing the number three seed.
Olivia Utterback exploded for a season-high 22 kills in what was her best performance of her junior season. The Plainfield, Ind. native was extremely efficient, hitting .419. Utterback was all over the court defensively, racking up 10 digs to earn her 11
thdouble-double of the year.
Reese Diersbock matched her best showing in a UC Davis uniform by posting 15 kills on the night while
Jade Light also reached double-digits by knocking down 11 kills.
Improving upon her impressive performance on Friday night was
Mia Starr, who handed out a season-high 48 assists to cap off her fantastic regular season.

The Ags head to Long Beach, Calif. to compete in the 2023 Outrigger Big West Women's Volleyball Championship. Their first-round matchup will be against number three seed Cal Poly on Nov. 22 inside Walter Pyramid. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
