LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The UC Davis men's tennis team picked up seven match wins at the 66th Annual Men's Intercollegiate Championships, hosted by USC over the weekend. 

Both doubles and singles play opened with two qualifying rounds. The Antreas and Constantinos Djakouris doubles pairing defeated Oklahoma State's Goran Zgola and Ty Wunderlich before falling in the next qualifying round.

All Aggies won their first singles qualifier match, but only Antreas Djakouris advanced into the main bracket. Constantinos had earned an automatic bid and did not need to qualify.

Both Djakouris brothers won their round of 32 match, but neither managed to reach the tournament quarterfinal. 

UC Davis has one more fall season tournament next weekend when they travel to the southwest to participate in the Grand Canyon Challenge in Phoenix, Ariz.
