Box Score RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Davis earned its first sweep of the season on Thursday night at SRC Arena, taking down UC Riverside in straight sets to start the second half of Big West Conference play.
"I like that we were able to get our first sweep," said Head Coach
Dan Conners. "We're showing a little bit more consistency as we go along which is something you're always looking for. We want to continue to grow and get better. We're still going to be in a battle to get into the conference tournament and we want to play at a very high level once we get into the tournament."
The Aggies improve to 11-9 overall (6-4 Big West) and will feel good when they return to Davis knowing they will be returning for a six-game homestand at the University Credit Union Center for the business end of their conference schedule.
