LONG BEACH, Calif. – In another Big West battle between UC Davis and Long Beach State, the hosts proved to be tough to beat on its home court, earning a three-set sweep on Friday night at the Walter Pyramid.
"I would have liked to see us show up with a much more aggressive and prepared mentality," said Head Coach
Dan Conners. "We didn't play like ourselves. Credit to Long Beach for taking us out of our game."
UC Davis falls to 9-8 overall (4-3 Big West) and suffer its third consecutive defeat in conference play. The Beach improve to 11-6 overall (5-2 Big West).
