Davis, Calif. — Picking up their fifth straight win, the UC Davis Swim and Dive Team took down the Pacific Tigers on the road by a score of 168-88. Going a perfect 5-0 in January, the Aggies will enter the MPSF Championships full of momentum.
After doubling in the 50 and 100 freelist week, Katie McLain again took home the 50 free while three Aggies rang in atop the 100 free with Anna Lee placing first, McLain second, and Dani Fasan rounding out the trio.
Opening up the meet with a convincing three second victory in the 200 yard medley relay, the relay composed of Caroline Eckel, Dani Fasan, Nicole Chong, and Christy Douglas gave Davis an early 11 points.
Anna Lee shined for the Aggies winning the 100 yard butterfly, the aforementioned 100 free, and the 200 free. Other Aggie winners who were consistently littered throughout the top times included Maggie Malloy who picked up wins in the 1000 free, and 500 yard free, while Fasan and Eckel carried over their relay success with Fasan winning the 100 breaststroke, and Eckel taking home the 100 backstroke.
Emma Hermeston put forward a statement time during the 200 backstroke, giving the Aggies nine points with a time of 2:05.64.
The Aggies will hit the pool next month during the MPSF Championships as they hope to continue piecing together fast times.
