PORTLAND, Ore. – The UC Davis women's tennis team dropped the backend of its visit in the Pacific Northwest to Portland on Sunday, 4-3.

Sophomore Arianna Stavropoulos earned her second consecutive victory of 2023 as she downed Sally Pethybridge, 1-6, 6-1, 7-5. Olive Maunupau defeated Rimona Rouf in straight sets at the No. 3 spot, 6-1, 7-5, and Michelle Zell collected the other Aggie victory after beating Kylie Canubida in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.

The Aggies will dive into Big West play when they host Santa Barbara on Friday, Jan. 20 at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
