TEMPE, Ariz. – The UC Davis gymnastics team finished second at the Tri-Meet hosted by No. 23 Arizona State on Friday night. The Aggies posted a score of 193.950 in their second outing of the season.
UC Davis boasted seven scores of 9.80 or better on Friday evening, posting its best event score on the vault with a 48.950.
Senior
Rachel Schuelke paced the Ags with a runner-up finish on the beam with a 9.825. Sophomore
Keanna Abraham and junior
Emma Otsu tied for second on the vault with scores of 9.825.
The Aggies will travel to Ames, Iowa for a tri-meet against Eastern Michigan and Iowa State University on Friday, Jan. 20.
