UC IRVINE HISTORY
UC Davis is 6-9-4 all-time against UC Irvine but 2-2-1 over the last five meetings between the teams...The Aggies won the 2021 meeting 2-1 on goals by Risa Yamada and Leslie Fregoso...The teams played the 2019 edition in Irvine making 2022 the first time UC Irvine has been to Davis since 2018...The Anteaters went 16-6 in 2021 and won the Big West regular season and tournament championship on their way to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

CSUN HISTORY
The Aggies are 6-8-3 all-time against CSUN but haven't lost in the series since Oct. 16 2014 in Northridge...UC Davis has won the last three meetings with three straight draws in 2015, 2016, 2017 ending at 0-0 in double overtime...2018's 1-0 win also went to overtime...CSUN went 3-17 last season and are 2-8 this season.

EVEN SPLIT
The Aggies have almost an even split scoring split between the first and second halfs with their opponents. UC Davis is being outscored 6-2 in first halves but outscoring opponents 7-3 in the second. 

FAST STARTS
With the season at its midway point, UC Davis will attempting to climb back to .500 and are under .500 at the mid point for the first time under Hamm. 

FREGOSO CONTINUES TO CLIMB THE RANKS
Junior Leslie Fregoso's record book climb is a weekly occurrence now. Though already dotted among the Division 1 era records, Fregoso is now climbing the all-time records lists that go back to 1990. 

•    She's now 12th all-time in career points. 
•    13th all-time in career goals and career shots.
•    11th all-time in career assists. 

Fregoso has set all of her marks in just 45 games and two-plus seasons. 

BALANCED SCORING
Seven different players are responsible for UC Davis' nine goals with only Leslie Fregoso having scored multiple goals. In 2021, nine different players accounted for 28 goals. 

THE GOLDSTEIN EFFECT
If the 2022 season ended today, Caeley Goldstein would finish with the second-best goals against average (1.00) and third-best save percentage (.806). 

She ranks second in the Big West in goals against average and third in saves. 

Should her goals against average hold, it would be the best mark by an Aggie keeper since Alexis Smith posted a 0.75 average over 19 games in 2015.

Goldstein's 1.00 GAA is ranked 19th nationally. 

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
•    Six players have started all nine games for UC Davis with a third of that group being underclassmen in Sarah Canavan, Jayde Holley, and redshirt sophomore Caeley Goldstein. 

•    UC Davis is tied with three other Big West teams as the only ones in the conference allowing one goal per game. UC Irvine, who UC Davis faces Thursday, and Hawai'i are the other two. 

•    UC Davis is averaging the fourth-most shots on goal in the conference and have taken the fourth-most shots overall despite sitting at seventh in goals scored.
