SAN LUIS OBISPO – The UC Davis softball team dropped the series finale at Cal Poly, 4-2, Saturday afternoon at Bob Janssen Field. After the series, the Aggies move to 21-28 overall and 9-15 in Big West play.
The Aggies scored two runs on one hit as
Kenedi Brown allowed four runs – three earned on 10 hits.
Cal Poly opened the game with two runs in the first and UC Davis chipped away to even the score with a run in the second and third inning before the Mustangs secured the series with a run in the fourth and sixth innings.
UC Davis will start its final regular season series against Hawai'i on Friday, May 13.
