Mark Wolbert had a second straight multi-hit day but UC Davis (4-26, 3-17) fell 1-6 in game two of a three-game set against the CSUN Matadors on Saturday in Northridge.
Wolbert went 2-4 and scored on an RBI single by
Jonah Henrickson in the top of the eighth. He's now scored both of UC Davis' runs in the series. Wolbert is 5-8 in the series with his average ticked up to .358.
The bulk of Saturday's innings went to
Kaden Riccomini, entering in the third and going six innings with four earned runs on seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts. It was Riccomini's fifth appeareance of at least six innings on the season, a career-high.
Raul Sandoval was also 2-4, giving him a three-game hitting streak.
The Aggies will wrap up the series on Sunday with a 1 p.m. first pitch before returning to Davis.
